know how
‘To know’ is to be aware of certain details. However, ‘Know-How’ is more than just knowing something. Know-How is being able to do something smoothly because you know it so well; to be an expert in some way. It is, of course, important to know how to do something. But why is there no ‘Know-What’, ‘Know-Who’, and ‘Know-Why’? After all, isn't knowing why you're doing something or who's doing it just as important?
